FRIESEN Commodities Amino Acids
The supplement of essential amino acids such as lysine, threonine and methionine helps the animals get more out of their food – so more meat and milk is produced per kilogramme of feed. This helps to protect valuable plant resources.
More than a billion tonnes of lysine for the feed industry are produced annually worldwide. A chemical synthesis of lysine is not economical. Biotechnologists have therefore specifically programmed microorganisms to produce the amino acids on an industrial scale. This is done in huge steel containers in which the bacteria can multiply under optimal conditions.
L-Lysine
L-Lysine Monohydrochloride Feed Grade 98.5%
More info
L-Lysine is the most important amino acid for monogastric species, as it is the first limiting amino acid for pigs and the second limiting amino acid for poultry.
L-Threonine
L-Threonine Feed Grade 98.5%
More info
- Used in animal feeds
- Is made from starch or other sugar material by fermentation, extraction & crystallization
- Water soluble product (please request solubility specs)
- Light brown to nearly white crystal or crystalline powder
- Has a slight sweet taste & smell
DL-Methionine
L-Lysine Monohydrochloride Feed Grade 98.5%
More info
Particularly for use in monogastrics. DL-Methionine ensures the adequate supply of sulfur amino acids, especially of the essential methionine. Because of methionine being first-limiting in typical poultry diets its use has been well established for many years.
Diets for piglets and growing pigs can show a considerable defi ciency in methionine, especially when formulated to achieve low nitrogen excretion for ecological reasons. Such a defi ciency can be conveniently compensated for by using DL-Methionine.
L-Tryptophan
L-Tryptophan Feed Grade 98 %
More info
L-Tryptophan 98% Feed Grade is used to supplement feeds in order to meet the digestible tryptophan requirement of animals. It is a key nutrient for growth and feed intake. It is particularly suitable for young pigs, because it helps to improve feed intake, growth rate and feed efficiency. This product is intended only for animals and should not be used in human products or human consumption
L-Valine
L-Valine Feed Grade 98 %
More info
The use of L-Valine in addition to L-Lysine, L-Threonine and L-Tryptophan is a guarantee of efficient feeds in terms of technical and economic performance, and improves animal farming sustainability by reducing nitrogen excreted by animals
