I completed my PhD in Animal Science with an emphasis in Livestock Nutrition and Animal Metabolism in the summer of 2018 from Oklahoma State University. During my graduate career, I had extensive experience with research, animal metabolism, statistics, and macro and micro mineral nutrition and metabolism. Since graduating, I worked for USDA-ARS as a Research Scientist in Bushland Texas; focusing on methods to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from production livestock. My thesis and dissertation were focused on body temperature and mitigating heat stress in livestock and using growth promoting technologies to improve livestock performance. Throughout my research career, I have managed over 30 research projects for all species and have over 15 journal publications.

I was born and raised in Pocatello Idaho and have family spread all around Montana. I am no stranger to the state, it feels great to be back home! My husband, Caleb, and I relocated from Texas to Great Falls the end of June and have love everything this town has to offer. We have a 2-year-old daughter, Rose, and are also expecting a very special Christmas present this year. Our family loves the outdoors, playing on the river, camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, and hunting. During the fall, we are avid college football fans and always cheer on the Oklahoma State Cowboys!

I am trained to provide nutritional recommendations for all livestock species in all production stages and am looking forward to learning more about agriculture and animal management in Montana. My office is in the Great Falls area office and am more than willing to help formulate unique rations based on the needs and ingredients readily available for your operation. I am available for on-farm visits to discuss any animal or nutritional issues, proper on-farm mixing, and ingredient and diet sampling for nutrient analyses.

I have been working closely with Michael Schalm and Morgan Ramsey over the past few months to learn the products we sale and the formulation system. I am happy to announce that I will be taking over all nutritional services for our Great Falls customers!
